Donghae & Eunhyuk’s Japanese Single ‘Oppa, Oppa’ Ranked 2nd on the Oricon Weekly Chart!

Donghae and Eunhyuk have been making remarkable activities in Japan.

The first single ‘Oppa, Oppa’ of Donghae and Eunhyuk, which was released on April 4th, also ranked 2nd on the Oricon weekly chart following the daily chart and it proved Super Junior’s high popularity once again.  

Especially, without any promotions or activities in Japan, the single took the 2nd place on the Oricon weekly chart following the Japanese famous rock band B’z and ranked 1st on the Single chart(2012/4/2-2912/4/8) announced by TOWER RECORDS, a Japanese large record shop. 

Moreover, a ‘Sold-Out’ sign for the single was put in various record shops including TOWER RECORDS and TSUTAYA since the evening of the day the single was released.

Also, since Donghae and Eunhyuk will have a premium mini live event at the Shibuya AX Hall in Tokyo on April 11th to celebrate the release of their first single in Japan, it is exepcted to receive an explosive response.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will release the 3rd single ‘Opera’ on May 9th in Japan and is scheduled to hold ‘SUPER SHOW 4’ at Tokyo Dome for 100,000 audiences on May 12th and 13th.

슈퍼주니어 동해&은혁, 日 싱글 'Oppa, Oppa' 오리콘 위클리도 2위 기염!

지난 주말 한국 그룹 최초로 프랑스 단독 콘서트를 성공적으로 마친 슈퍼주니어 멤버 동해와 은혁이 일본에서도 눈부신 활약을 펼치고 있다.

일본에서 지난 4일 출시된 동해와 은혁의 첫 싱글 'Oppa, Oppa'는 해외 아티스트 유닛으로서는 이례적으로 오리콘 데일리 싱글 차트 2위에 오른 데 이어 위클리 차트에서도 2위에 등극, 명실상부 글로벌 한류 제왕다운 슈퍼주니어의 높은 인기를 다시 한번 입증했다.

특히, 이번 싱글은 발매 전 일본에서 별도의 프로모션이나 활동이 전혀 없었음에도 불구하고 일본 인기 록밴드 B'z(비즈)에 이어 오리콘 위클리 2위에 오르는 쾌거를 거뒀으며, 일본의 대형 음반체인점 타워레코드가 발표한 싱글차트(2012/4/2-2012/4/8)에서도 당당히 1위를 차지해 현지 팬들의 뜨거운 관심을 실감케 했다.

더불어 이번 싱글은 발매 당일 저녁부터 타워레코드, 츠타야 등 각종 레코드샵에서는 ‘품절’ 표시가 걸리는 등 음반 품귀현상을 빚기도 해 이러한 인기를 예고한 바 있다.

또한 동해와 은혁은 일본 첫 싱글 발매를 기념해, 오는 11일 도쿄에 위치한 시부야 AX홀에서 프리미엄 미니라이브 이벤트를 개최하고 일본 팬들과 가깝게 만나는 자리도 마련할 예정인 만큼, 더욱 폭발적인 반응을 얻을 것으로 보인다.

한편, 슈퍼주니어는 일본에서 오는 5월 9일 3번째 싱글 ‘Opera’를 발매하며, 8만 명을 동원한 오사카 쿄세라돔 공연에 이어 5월 12~13일에는 도쿄돔에서도 10만명 규모의 ‘SUPER SHOW 4’를 펼칠 계획이어서, 앞으로의 활약이 더욱 기대를 모은다.
